Vintage Watch Condition Examination:
This Vintage Rolex watch is in good vintage condition with some wear to the case. The hallmark on the back of the 11 o’clock lug is visible. Patina has developed on hands, hour markers and dial due to natural exposure. Crystal has some wear.

The ref. 3131 that you see here today is a rare and very fine edition of the older-model Oyster Perpetual that was produced some time in the 1940s. Its feature set includes a stunning 14kt gold finish and an automatic movement. The Bubbleback was among the first timepieces to use a self-winding movement and is a highly prized collector’s item. Due to its unique case shape, the ref. 3131 is also known as the Ovettone, which means Little Egg in Italian. In Hong Kong, it also goes by the intriguing nickname Little Coffin. This edition also features a versatile 31mm case size and a stunning silver dial decorated with older-style hour markers and hands.
